Heavy-duty mild steel construction

High-traffic access points need protection that can withstand demanding site conditions. Giraffe Goalpost is manufactured from mild steel and designed as a fully welded steel structure. This gives the system the strength required for doorway, loading bay and racking lane entrance protection.

The system includes concrete-filled bases for added stability and impact resistance. L-shaped brace supports reinforce the uprights, helping the structure manage contact forces at vulnerable access points. High-visibility boundaries for MHE drivers

Giraffe Goalpost is powder-coated in RAL 1023 Yellow with black vinyl strips as standard, creating a visible frame around doorways and structural openings. This supports safer movement in areas where forklifts, pallet trucks and other MHE operate close to building fabric.

The black vinyl strips help maintain clear visual contrast across the goalpost structure. They are also replaceable, supporting long-term visibility and easier upkeep in busy operational areas. As a result, the opening becomes easier to read and better protected during daily operations.

Giraffe Goalpost System Installation on suitable concrete floors

Giraffe Goalpost is designed for quick and practical installation, with fixings provided. The system fixes to a suitable concrete floor using M16 x 150mm or M20 x 180mm throughbolts, depending on the final height and width of the unit.

The base measures 1200mm long x 213mm wide x 200mm high. Each unit includes 6x Ø24mm fixing holes for secure floor anchoring. Drill requirements are Ø16mm hole diameter with 85mm minimum embedment, subject to final anchor selection, unit size and site conditions.
