Steel core, rubber buffer and rotating sleeve

The post centres on a 114mm diameter galvanised steel core with a 180mm x 180mm baseplate. A shock absorbing rubber buffer sits on top of the baseplate. It absorbs and arrests impact force before it reaches the core and the floor fixings. This protects the surrounding floor surface from damage under repeated contact. It also reduces the stress placed on the fixing anchors over time.

The steel core carries a hot dip galvanised finish to BS EN ISO 1461. A 123mm diameter rotating yellow polyethylene sleeve fits over the core and takes the direct impact of vehicle contact. The sleeve rotates on impact, distributing force more evenly and reducing concentrated damage at a single point. When the sleeve sustains significant wear it replaces independently. No repainting is required at any point.

Installation and fixing

The ImpactSAFE Protection Post is a bolt-down surface mounted system. Four M10 x 105mm Safety Plus Anchors secure each post to the floor, supplied as standard. The baseplate measures 180mm x 180mm and sits flush to the floor surface for a clean, stable installation. Everything needed is in the box.

Three height options are available: 600mm, 800mm and 1000mm. The 1000mm version is supplied as standard. The 600mm and 800mm options are available on request, subject to minimum order quantities.
