Our Services
From site safety audits and specification support to product supply and professional installation, Brandsafe supports safer industrial workplaces at every stage.
A complete service from specification to installation and beyond
Brandsafe supports impact protection projects at every stage, from early product guidance and site safety audits through to specification support, bespoke layouts, product supply, professional installation and ongoing aftercare.
Whether you need a single product upgrade, supply-only support or a complete multi-system protection project, our team can help you choose practical solutions suited to your site, risk level and operational requirements.
Our service combines technical product knowledge, consultative support, project coordination and installation experience. This allows us to support architects, specifiers, contractors, facilities teams, health and safety managers and end users with clearer decision-making and a more organised route from enquiry to completion.
Project Consultation
The starting point for effective impact protection is understanding the site. Before recommending a product or system, our team reviews the key factors that influence risk, including vehicle and pedestrian movement, MHE routes, vulnerable infrastructure, building layout, racking, machinery and the operational requirements of the business.

This project consultation stage helps ensure the recommended protection is suited to the actual application, rather than applying a generic solution where it may not be the best fit. For larger or more complex projects, this may include site visits, layout reviews, photographs, drawings and direct discussions with the people responsible for day-to-day operations.
We work closely with health and safety managers, facilities managers, architects, specifiers, contractors, end users and wider project teams, providing clear technical guidance throughout the decision-making process. Whether the requirement is a single product upgrade or a wider site protection project, our aim is to help customers choose practical systems that address real site risks.
This reflects the wider IWS Group mission: to keep workspaces running safer, smarter and built to last. For Brandsafe, that means recommending the right level of protection for each site, not under-specifying where genuine impact risk exists and not over-specifying where a simpler solution is more appropriate. Our Essential, Core and Plus ranges help customers choose practical demarcation, impact protection and tested safety systems based on the level of risk, the operating environment and the protection required.
Bespoke design and specification
Some sites need more than a standard product arrangement. Changes in floor level, narrow vehicle routes, exposed columns, loading bays, shutter doors, racking runs, pedestrian routes and machinery can all affect how protection needs to be positioned.
Site-specific protection layouts
Our technical expertise and product range allow us to design solutions around the specific requirements of each project, rather than forcing the site to fit a standard catalogue layout. Many Brandsafe systems can be supplied in bespoke sizes or configurations, depending on the site layout, risk level and operational requirements.
Where required, we can review architectural drawings supplied by the client or project team, adding impact protection mark-ups and bespoke protection layouts to show where each system should sit before work begins. This provides clarity for customers, contractors and installation teams, while allowing the design to be reviewed, costed and adapted as the project develops.
Bespoke product requirements
Our design support considers practical details such as vehicle movement, pedestrian access, likely impact direction, available deflection space, floor fixing requirements and surrounding infrastructure. Depending on the application, we can also advise on suitable product ranges, colour options, material choices and system configurations.
If a customer has a bespoke product requirement, our team will review the application and explore the most suitable route forward. This may involve adapting an existing product, modifying a standard configuration or, where appropriate, developing a bespoke system to suit the specific needs of the site.
Standards-led specification support
Our advice is informed by relevant UK legislation, codes of practice, technical standards and industry guidance. Examples include the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992, PAS 13, BS 6180:2011 and EN 1991-1-1 Eurocode 1, where applicable.
These are examples rather than an exhaustive list. Not every standard applies to every product or project, so our team considers the intended use, environment and risk profile before making a recommendation.
The aim is to create a protection layout that works with the site, not against it. Whether the project involves polymer barriers, Armco systems, bollards, column protectors, goalpost systems or traffic management products, Brandsafe helps specify practical solutions that suit the application and support safer day-to-day operations.

Supply only

For customers with their own installation resource, Brandsafe offers supply-only access to a wide range of impact protection and workplace safety products.
This option is suitable for straightforward product requirements, replacement parts, site upgrades and projects where the customer, contractor or facilities team is managing installation directly. Our team can still support with product selection guidance, specification information, technical advice and available installation documentation before an order is placed.
Most Brandsafe products are supplied with the standard fixings and components required for their intended installation. However, fixing requirements can vary depending on the product, substrate, floor condition and site application. Customers should always review the relevant product specification before ordering or installing, and contact our team if any fixing or installation details need to be confirmed.
Due to the size and weight of many Brandsafe products, some supply-only orders are delivered by pallet. Customers may need suitable unloading equipment, such as a forklift, available on site at the point of delivery. Collections may also be available by arrangement.
Supply-only orders are supported by the same practical pre-sales advice and after-sales customer care as our wider supply and installation service.
Supply and installation
Brandsafe provides a professional supply and installation service for customers who require a managed project from product supply through to completion.
Installations are carried out by our in-house installation engineers and trusted subcontracted installation partners, where appropriate. Our teams work around site requirements, access arrangements and operational constraints to complete installations safely, efficiently and with minimal disruption wherever possible.
The installation process is coordinated from planning through to completion, helping ensure the agreed products are installed accurately and in line with the project requirements. This can include reviewing drawings, confirming layouts, planning access, arranging delivery and managing the installation programme around the needs of the site.
Our products are designed for practical on-site installation across new builds, refurbishment projects and existing operational environments. Many systems can also be extended, adapted or reconfigured if site layouts change, subject to product suitability, condition and revised risk requirements.
From individual safety upgrades to larger multi-system projects and rollout programmes across multiple sites, Brandsafe has the flexibility to support a wide range of installation requirements.
Project communication and delivery management
Clear communication is essential when delivering impact protection projects, especially on active sites where access, timings and operational requirements can change quickly.
Brandsafe uses project management tools such as Fieldwire to help support communication, coordination and visibility throughout selected projects. This allows key project information, installation updates, site notes, photographs and progress details to be shared more clearly between the teams involved.
Using Fieldwire helps keep project activity organised, giving customers, contractors and installation teams a clearer view of what has been completed, what is in progress and what may need attention. It also supports a more transparent delivery process, helping reduce confusion and keep communication focused during busy installation programmes.
Combined with our internal project coordination, account management and customer care support, this helps Brandsafe deliver a more organised, responsive and professional project experience from planning through to completion.
Site Safety Audits
Brandsafe Site Safety Audits provide a free, no obligation way to review existing impact protection, identify potential risk areas and start a consultative conversation about how safety could be improved across your site.
The service is structured around three stages: Inspect, Report and Recommend.
- During the Inspect stage, our team reviews agreed areas of the site, including existing barriers, bollards, pedestrian routes, vehicle routes, signage, gates, column protection, racking protection, emergency access points and vulnerable infrastructure. This helps assess the condition, position and suitability of current protection measures in relation to how the site operates.
- The Report stage provides a clear summary of findings, highlighting areas where protection may be damaged, missing, underperforming or no longer suited to current site activity. This gives customers a practical record of what has been reviewed and where further attention may be needed.
- The Recommend stage outlines suitable next steps based on the findings. Where required, this may include product recommendations, layout guidance, repair or replacement options, installation advice and costed proposals for improving protection across the site.
Site Safety Audits are suitable for new site managers reviewing inherited installations, post-impact reviews, planned maintenance programmes, warehouse safety upgrades and proactive risk management. They can also support internal safety reviews by providing documented evidence that impact protection and traffic management measures have been assessed.
The aim is to help customers make informed decisions about their site safety measures, with practical recommendations based on the risks, layout and operational needs of the environment.

NBS Source and specification support
Brandsafe products are available on NBS Source, allowing architects and specifiers to access structured product data, technical information and available specification resources directly within their workflow.
This helps project teams research, compare and specify suitable impact protection systems more efficiently during the design, tender and construction stages. Product information can be reviewed alongside key details such as dimensions, materials, finish options, fixings, performance data and application guidance.
Where available, BIM resources, Revit files and IFC files can also support design coordination and help project teams include Brandsafe systems within wider building models and project documentation.
Our team also provides practical specification support for projects at different stages, from early design through to tender and construction. We work with architects, specifiers, contractors and project teams to help ensure the right products are considered for the application and that relevant standards, performance details and installation requirements are referenced accurately.
Whether the project involves polymer barriers, Armco systems, bollards, column protection, pedestrian handrails or traffic management products, Brandsafe can support the specification process with clear technical guidance and product information.
